Not an official site

greatlakesreservations.com is an independent website. Not affiliated with any state park agency or the National Park Service. It does not sell or hold reservations. You book only on each agency's official system.

Dates are worked out, not guaranteed

Every date this site shows is calculated from a booking rule published by the agency, and each page links the source and the date we last checked it. Agencies change rules, announce opening days late, and close systems for storms. Always confirm on the official booking site. We are not responsible for a missed or lost reservation.

Affiliate links

Some links earn this site a commission at no extra cost to you: Campnab (cancellation alerts) pays a referral fee when someone buys through our link, and the Stay22 lodging map pays a share of hotel and rental commissions. Tour links to Viator and GetYourGuide (Sleeping Bear Dunes, Door County, Mackinac Island) earn a commission on tours booked through them. Free services such as Campflare are always listed before paid ones, commission or not. Official booking systems pay us nothing.

No automated booking

This site never books, holds or checks campsites on your behalf, and never runs automated checks against reservation systems.
